What’s New in Popis 5.2: More Control, More Speed, and Smarter Notifications

Popis 5.2 brings the biggest step forward since the introduction of the portal – with complete user and role management, the ability to count directly from the browser, and improved RFID support.
The new version combines AI recommendations and system notifications into a unified view, adds an audit log for complete traceability of changes, and ensures faster and more stable terminal performance.
If you have used previous versions of Popis, you will feel the difference right from the first inventory.

• ✅ New User and Role Management
  The portal now enables advanced user management with roles (administrator, enumerator, reviewer) – access rights are automatically mapped to terminals. This gives you complete control over who can view, edit, or count data.
• 💻 Auditing via Portal – without a terminal, directly from the browser – ideal for smaller companies or final adjustments.
• 🔁 Faster creation of new inventories with the option to transfer assets and locations from previous inventories.
• 🕵️ New Audit Log for complete traceability of all changes in the system and tracking of the entire inventory process.
• ⚡ Improved Terminal Performance
  Complete state synchronization between terminals and the central system, faster processing of large asset lists, and reduced memory usage.
• 🏷️ Optimized RFID Support
  Popis 5.2 brings improved RFID tag processing – faster reading, more stable performance, and more efficient display of large lists (up to several thousand tags per location). Compatible with Zebra and Honeywell terminals.
• 🔔 Unified Notification System and AI Recommendations
  The notification system is now connected to the new AI module. All AI recommendations, synchronization alerts, technical errors, and system notifications are combined into a unified view.
  A notification history has also been added, where users can review past notifications and warnings at any time, allowing for better control over the inventory progress.
